Butterfly - butterfly template
Trace or copy the butterfly template onto any color of cardstock you like. Introduce your child, sibling or grandchild by decorating the butterfly with copies of photos, listing some of the things your child liked, hopes and dreams you had for your child or you may want to tell about your child, sibling or grandchild. Be creative! On the back of the butterfly, list the following information: your name and address, e-mail, name of the person in whose memory the butterfly is submitted and their relationship to you, i.e. child, sibling, grandchild, etc. Also include their birth date, death date and cause of death.

The decorated butterflies will be displayed on an arbor during the 2008 National Gathering. At the close of the 2008 Gathering (Sunday Morning), attendees will have the opportunity to select a butterfly to take home. They will be encouraged to keep in touch with the person listed on the back of the butterfly.You are encouraged to participate by sending one of these butterflies even if you are unable to attend the 2008 National Gathering. If you do not wish to be contacted, you may leave the back of the butterfly blank. Chapter leaders may want to consider decorating butterflies with their members after a monthly chapter meeting.
